Humanity Is Rushing to Conquer Death—But at What Spiritual Price?
🚫 Don’t Die Before 2030
Longevity science is a field of study with the goal of prolonging human life—not only giving us longer lives, but the end goal is to give humans a kind of immortality.
And the scientists who say these things? They can actually achieve it.
🧠 The Science Behind Immortality
Brilliant scientists like Peter Diamandis, who has started over 25 companies, is a best-selling author, and considered a top 50 leader in the world by Forbes. He is one of the figures at the forefront of longevity science. He’s confident that if we can live until 2030, science will be able to provide us with another 30 years of good health. “90 will be the new 50” is one of the slogans being used.
In his interview that you can see HERE, he claims if you can just make it to 2030, they can get us another 30–40 years of life in addition to your current lifespan. He goes on to say that with advances in science and AI, within that 30 years of new good promised health and slowed aging, they will be able to edit and program genes to the point of reversing aging—allowing humans to become immortal. To never decay, grow old, or die from disease again. Yes, we could still be physically killed, but other than that—you’ll live to enjoy the year 2425 and beyond.
So, workout. Don’t speed. Stop doing drugs and control the amount of alcohol you consume. Take your meds, see your doctor, look both ways when crossing the road. Do whatever you can that’s in your control to make sure you live until 2030. Such hope for humanity!
🧬 What Science Is Doing Right Now
Longevity scientists have discovered how to do this. This isn’t sci-fi TV. Scientists can truly do this. There is animal testing going on. There are human trials as well. They understand the biology behind it and now have the ability—with advanced sciences and AI—to construct genetic material to do whatever they want in the human body.
If a cell or organ is compromised, for example, they can create novel proteins with specific instructions to replace the affected cells. They’re going after the biological processes in our bodies instead of chasing after curing diseases one by one. If they can program your body to be immune to disease, there’s no need for vaccines in the traditional sense. Or if you do have some health problem, they won’t need to treat the issue—they’ll just instruct your cells through a treatment, and the ailment will be gone and healthy cells will replace the damaged ones.
They’ve identified what happens in the body that makes us age and decay. It’s simply signals being turned on or off (very simple explanation). They’ve demonstrated the ability in labs to cure blindness, to make cells and animals younger—and it has no negative side effects.
Stay alive long enough, and they’ll be able to give you a pill treatment that will actually make you younger. Yes, in the way that you are thinking.
🪞 Back to the Garden
Now, let’s take this in a completely different direction. Stick with me—I pray this will be a blessing to you.
Before reading further, I encourage you to go back and read the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden in the book of Genesis. We all know how Satan tempted them to eat of the Tree of Knowledge. He opened their minds to the fact that there are other options in life—other behaviors. Think about it: at that point Adam and Eve had never heard a lie. It’s possible they didn’t even know what the concept of “not-truth” was.
They had no reason to think Satan was lying because no one had ever lied to them before. And they fell in their sin because they didn’t trust and obey God completely.
Now, after deceiving them into eating from that tree, do you think Satan was done with them? If God didn’t come and kick them out of the Garden, do you think Satan would’ve just left them alone for the rest of their lives? Certainly not. And the Bible tells us what Satan would’ve tempted them with next. It’s the reason they were kicked out of the Garden.
“And the Lord God said, ‘Behold, the man has become like one of Us in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever—’ therefore the Lord God sent him out…”
(Genesis 3:22-23)
That was Satan’s next target—The Tree of Life. Why? Because Adam and Eve sinned, and Satan would’ve deceived them into eating from that Tree as well, living forever and becoming like him—stuck in their sin.
💀 Why Death Became Necessary
When Adam and Eve sinned, creation became corrupted—as well as themselves. God told them if they ate of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, they would surely die. This is important. Because they sinned, they had to die. Same for all of humanity since then.
We will all sin. We won’t stop sinning. It’s in our flesh, our body, our culture. It battles against the Spirit, it battles against God. It makes us do the things we don’t want to do.
Except for those special few during the Tribulation, we must all die—not as punishment but to be rid of this sinful prison we’re in. Even though we wear this body of sin, if we accept Jesus and He puts His Spirit inside us, then when we are finally freed and rid of this body—we will be with the Lord, free from sin.
We will be given a new body, one that is not corrupted and cannot be corrupted. A body free from the curse that can truly live forever without the inner temptations and war between flesh and spirit.
🤖 2025: The New Garden Moment?
So, here we are in 2025. Approaching a new frontier with Artificial Intelligence and Longevity Science.
Humanity—falling away from God—is attempting to complete what was started with Satan in the Garden. Having been led by the god of this world (Satan) to advance technology in ways that have led us back to the beginning.
We’ve gained so much knowledge since that first bite.
Will humans, in our selfish ambition, chase after that next bite from the Tree that was taken from us? Will we chase immortality by our own standards—solving the problem of physical decay—to be trapped in a world of sin and evil?
To think we can never die, never face judgment, never face God?
If Satan can get us to gain longer lives through technology, he could extend his rule here and his freedom for quite some time.

🌌 The Universe Will Still Die
Even if all that were to occur—if we are led to this supposedly soon future, and humans are able to live for billions of years—it doesn’t matter.
Because with the same scientific tools used to bring us to this point, those instruments tell us that the entirety of the cosmos—every star, planet, molecule—will die eventually.
Entropy is always increasing. The universe is gradually becoming more disordered. Science tells us this. God told us first.
In Genesis, we’re told the earth has been cursed. In Romans, Paul tells us:
“For the creation was subjected to frustration… in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay…”
(Romans 8:20-21)
So interesting that just like the universe is decaying more and more as time goes on—so does humanity. With all our resources and abundance, the hearts and minds of humanity are decaying. What truly matters is decaying.
Our wealth and achievements are growing, but our love is growing colder.
💥 The Heat Death
This decay that scientists have studied—if humans lived forever, we’d still die. Because when all energy runs out, it leads to the heat death (or Big Freeze). Science says there was a burst of light at the dawn of the universe—the Big Bang. Since that moment, everything has been moving outward.
But just as we watch every year on July 4th , fireworks don’t burn forever.
Stars don’t burn forever. Despite our supposedly immortal future bodies, the universe will still end. And Satan will still face judgment. All creation will be ended.
✝️ True Eternal Life
We know from prophecy that the end of humanity won’t come from natural decay. But I say this to Satan and to unbelievers:
Even with all these schemes and technologies—Jesus is still the only Way, the Truth, and the Life. True freedom and true eternal life can only be accomplished through Him.
Satan knows this—and he counts on you not to.
🌿 A Creation Without Decay
I want to leave you with this thought:
If the Bible and science both agree that creation is decaying—what happens in a universe where there is no decay?
In a world where people no longer decay inside or out? Where the Creator dwells with His people?
Do stars no longer scorch planets or not provide enough light? Do once-dead worlds bloom with life?
Paul tells us that creation will be set free from its bondage.
“The creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.”
(Romans 8:21)
What does that mean?
